How often will my child need speech therapy?
Speech therapy is not one-size fits all! We provide 50 minute speech therapy services. Frequency of speech therapy services will be recommended based on evaluation findings and the individual needs of your child. Speech therapy sessions are provided in your child's natural environment (home, daycare, school, etc.).

What should I expect during an evaluation?
After an initial consultation with the family, the SLP will complete an evaluation using both formal testing measures and informal observations to assess various aspects of your child's speech and language skills. These findings, in combination with family input, will be compiled into a report, including a summary of strengths and areas of concern, diagnosis (if applicable), and recommendations for therapy or further assessment if needed. Overall, parents can expect a thorough assessment that considers all aspects of their child's communication skills. The process is designed to provide clarity about any speech or language difficulties and to guide recommendations for support and intervention to help the child communicate effectively.

What can I expect during speech therapy sessions?
Communication For All believes in child-centered, play-based speech therapy approaches. Speech therapy sessions are structured around your child's interests, allowing them to learn and practice their language skills in a natural, relaxed, and meaningful setting. Play-based therapy provides language rich learning opportunities and helps foster your child's development. Parent involvement is encouraged throughout therapy sessions as we work to learn and grow with your child.
